LS Detect
How to Execute
Using LS Detect Dialog
Click the toolbar icon to open LS Detect dialog, and then click
button to add a new search condition. Modify the conditions, then specify the search area in Area. Then, click Execute to execute LS Detect. New Condition
Item | Action |
---|---|
Name | Specify a condition name. |
Tone | Specify the tone of the search location. |
XY | Specify the direction in which to create a measurement point. |
Type | Specify the order in which to create a measurement point. |
W | Specify the width of the figure in the measurement direction. |
L | Specify the width of the figure in the vertical direction for measurement direction. |
D | Specify the distance to an adjacent figure in the measurement direction. |
Grouping | Specify the method of grouping after creating measurement points. |
Target Count | Specify the maximum number of points to create when LS Detect is executed. |
Area | Specify the area where LS Detect is executed. |
W means the width of the figure in the measurement direction, L means the width of the figure in the vertical direction for measurement direction, and D means the distance to the adjacent figure in the measurement direction.
You can also add more criteria in Advance tab.
Item | Action |
---|---|
Angle Tolerance | Specify the angle error tolerance when a slant is specified for XY. |
Manhattanize Tolerance | Specify the coordinate error tolerance when a slant is specified for XY. |
Jog Length to Ignore | Specify whether jogs should be tolerated when searching for figures for measurement point creation. Refer to With Jog in Adding Measurement Points page. |
Joint Width Mode | Specify type of Jog measurement. |
Ignore Assist Feature | Ignore small figures or spaces when searching for figures for measurement point creation. Refer to Assist Size in Adding Measurement Points page. |
Spacing in Single Feature | Interval size for multiple detections on a figure. |
Duplicate to Target Count | Force to satisfy detect count with overlap. |
Extract and Execute Conditions from Measurement Points
LS detect condition can be extracted from existing measurement point. Right-click on a site in datalist of Measurements tab in Measurement Panel, then select Create LS Detect Condition
to add its condition to the LS Detect dialog. The following conditions are extracted:
Condition | Syntax |
---|---|
W | Length of measurement point - margin ≤ W ≤ Length of measurement point + margin |
L | ROI height of measurement point ≤ L |
D | Distance to the adjacent figure, or length of measurement point, whichever is shorter / 2 ≤ D |
Margins can be specified in Preference. See LS Detect/Margin in Preference Action/Recipe Creation/Add Measurement page.
It is also possible to directly perform LS Detect on the surrounding area with conditions extracted from a measurement point. Right-click a measurement point in Measurements tab of Measurement Panel and select LS Detect with Item/Search Around
from context menu to open Search Size dialog. Enter the area and press OK to perform LS Detect within the specified area around the point, using the conditions of the point.
Execute Using Measure Points File
Click the icon on Measurement Panel and select
Load Measure Points File
to open the Load Measure Points dialog.
Specify a file name and press OK to execute LS Detect using the conditions and associated regions specified in the file. It is also possible to create a measurement point, extract conditions on that point, and execute LS Detect using the extracted conditions around specified area, all at the same time.
Refer to Measure Points File page.
Display the Result of LS Detect Execution
The measurement points created by LS Detect is added the datalist of Measurements tab in Measurement Panel. The result is shown in Result tab in the LS Detect dialog.
Item | Description |
---|---|
Area | Area where LS Detect was executed |
Created Count | Number of points created when LS Detect was executed |
Required Count | Maximum number of points set when LS Detect was executed |
