2points Measurement

Measure the distance between two points specified by the user and the width of figures or space between figures along the way.

How to Execute

Run Directly on Screen

Do one of the following to execute 2p Measure directly on screen.

Switch to 2p Measure mode, and left-click the start and end points on screen.

The 2p measure Mode can be specified from 2p Measure Mode menu in Inspection Panel toolbar.

Auto Measure 2p Measure Mode

Icon	Item	Action
	Raw	Measure the distance between two points.
	Line & Space	Measure the width and space of the figures between the two points.
	Auto	Measure as Line or Space, depending on the tone of the first pitch.
	Line	Measure the width of the figures between the two points.
	Space	Measure the space of the figures between the two points.
	Auto Pitch	Measure as Pitch Up-Up or Pitch Down-Down, depending on the tone of the first pitch.
	Pitch Up-Up	Measure from the start of one figure to the start of the next figure between the two points.
	Pitch Down-Down	Measure from the start of one space to the start of the next space between the two points.

In any mode, you can also perform measurement between two points by center-dragging on screen from the start point to the end point. The operation of center-drag on screen can be changed in the preference. See Action/Middle Click in Preference Window/Screen/Mouse page.
Right-drag from the start point to the end point on screen, and release the mouse button to show the context menu. Select the menu following 2p Measure in the context menu to perform 2p Measure from the start point to the end point in the selected measureme mode.

Hold Shift key when selecting the menu following 2p Measure to open Measure dialog.

Run from the Measure Dialog

Do one of the following to open the Measure dialog.

From the context menu of screen, hold down Shift key and select 2p Measure.
Right click on the blank part of Inspection Panel to open the context menu, and select 2p Measure.

Item	Action
Start - End	Specify the start and the end points.
Measure Mode	Specify the measure mode.

Enter the start and end points in Start - End and press OK to execute the measurement.

Display the Measurement Results

The result of 2p Measure is saved in Inspection Panel. Also, the result is displayed on screen.

2p Measure Added

If 2p Measure finds width and space of the figures between the 2 points, the result appears as a tree and can be expanded. Hover over the 2p Measure result in the datalist or the displayed 2p Measure result on screen to highlight it on screen.

Right-click the 2p Measure result in the datalist to open the context menu, containing items shown in the table below in addition to the default context menu items.

Measure Mode/Pitch Down-Down	Change the measure mode to Pitch Down-Down.
Show	Toggle showing/hiding the 2p Measure result on screen.
Color	Specify the display color of the 2p Measure result on screen.

2p Measure Added

Right-click the 2p Measure result in the datalist or the highlighted 2p Measure result on screen to open the context menu, containing items shown in the table below in addition to the default context menu items.

Color	Specify the display color of the 2p Measure result on screen.
